Trail Riding at Morrison's Lodge
Morrison’s Rogue River Lodge, traditionally know for it Fine Dining, Lodging, Rogue River Rafting and Rogue River Steelhead fly fishing. Is now offering Horseback trail rides in the gorgeous Taylor Creek canyon at Sam Brown Camp ground which was developed as a trail riding opportunity to explore the beautiful canyon.
Offered through Sourdough camp Trail rides and wrangler Mike Pierce. Mike grew up in Josephine county and has combined his love for the mountains with his love for horses to share this wonderful opportunity with others. with his knowledge of the area and his ability to tell stories and with the beautiful surrounding this will be a memorable experience for all to enjoy.
Registration begins at Morrison’s Rogue River Lodge located at 8500 Galice road in Merlin Oregon.The trail head is 12 miles up Taylor creek canyon (Taylor creek runs through the Morrison property.) Arrive at Morrison’s one hour prior to ride time. You may want to bring a lunch for a picnic before or after your ride.
